What’s more important when it comes to art, the name of the artist or the art itself? In a new promotional video, Amsterdam’s Stedelijk art museum ventures to find out. Filling a portfolio with work by Russian Avant-Garde artist Kazimir Malevich (1879-1935), the museum sent an applicant to several prestigious art academies to be put through the interview process. Armed with the resume of the founder of the avant-garde and Suprematist movements, you’d expect Malevich to do pretty well, wouldn’t you? Press play and find out.

Whether you give a shit about art or not, this video is awesome.
