murmurArt is a pioneering new platform that works with emerging new artists. Running from the 1st July through to 15th July 09, this summer sees murmur launch a pop-up exhibition inside the famous luxury department store Selfridges, inside their creative section; TheWonder Room. With a panel of ten prominent figures, for example Alannah Weston, Selfridges’ Creative Director, Conrad Shawcross, Tracey Emin, Kirsty Wark, Tim Marlow and collectors Kay Saatchi, Anita Zabludowicz and Kevin Spacey, each choosing one of their favourite up and coming artists to partake. Artists include Polly Morgan, Bouke de Vries, Teresa Buskova, Rose Blake and Jo Robertson to name a few. Curated by Flora Fairbairn, the show will feature works priced from £1,000 and murmurART at Selfridges will allow the artists to take one hundred percent of the sale price of their main exhibited work.
