Nate Lowman, Norwegian Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art

For his first solo show Nate Lowman is showing at the Norwegian Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo with an exhibition that dives into Lowman’s interest with death, consumer society and the American media. Showcasing these themes via installations that include contemporary culture such as well known films, cartoons and brands, Nate Lowman breaks down the sense of a ‘traditional gallery’ experience by hanging his work on the wall in a scrambled manner, like ideas in ones head or a visual explanation. See below for images.
