Nike Sportswear have teamed up with Scottish graphic & textile design house Timorous Beasties to create a new limited edition collection for their ACG range. 20 years old Timorous Beasties have gathered much acclaim for their use of 19th century french wallpaper designs juxtaposed with contemporary urban imagery & vistas, naturalist, insect, bird & flower motifs and experimental print techniques and applications, they have aptly been described as ‘William Morris on acid’.
The collaboration consists of a Vertical Shell jacket and a series of printed tees. The soft shell jacket features ACG Storm-Fit technology resulting in a seamsealed breathable fabric which completely blocks wind and rain penetration at up to 5000mm of water pressure and has a subtle all over, tonal colour on colour Timorous Beasties print.
