Acclaimed American artists Mark Jenkins and Aakash Nihalani opened two groundbreaking shows at Carmichael Gallery on Thursday, January 21. Crowds poured in to see the evolution of the absurd in Jenkins’ hyper realistic sculptures and Nihalani’s commanding new three-dimensional works on aluminum and plastic.
