The Long Weekend at Tate Modern in London will include an impressive performance from Italian artist Paola Pivi. The installation will consist of 1000 people on the mezzanine bridge above the Turbine Hall screaming as loudly as possible, hence the title ‘1000′. The interesting addition of the people involved in the work that they come from organizations such as Free Tibet and are screaming as a form of protest. ‘1000′ will takes place on Monday, May 25 so if you are near make sure you head on down and watch it unfold.
