Pharrell Williams has designed a lamp and to our genuine surprise, the shade isn’t one of his Vivienne Westwood hats. Why did Pharrell try his hand at ambient lighting, you ask? It’s to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Kartell‘s bestselling Bourgie lamp and the “Happy” singer is one of many artists recruited to re-imagine the classic lamp as part of a new exhibit at the Kartell’s showroom in SoHo.

See the Pharrell Williams X Kartell Bourgie Lamp above, and if your in New York do yourself a favor and see the gallery in full.
