For those of you following the lawsuit against Shepard Fairey, heres the latest news. The photographer, Mannie Garcia, who took the shot of Barack Obama used by Fairey in his hugely popular HOPE campaign, has dropped his suit against the artist. In a complicated case which also involved the Associated Press, Garcia has dropped his claim due to the personal effect it has had on him.
