"Pierre Cardin: 60 Years Of Innovation" Book

“Pierre Cardin: 60 Years Of Innovation” is a new book celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Maison Cardin.
One of the first designers to realise that couture could be avant garde, he took influence from the space race and sci-fi to create a series of formless, unisex clothing and geometric prints which came to define the swinging 60s and influenced generations of designers to come. In addition to focusing on the man himself and his world of couture and fashion it also take’s a look at how the brand diffused its design aesthetic (Cardin was also one of the first designers to lend his talents to other disciplines – automotive, housewears, etc..) and internationalised its business.
