Opening tonight (Sep 12) at Cheim & Read in New York, Barry McGee will be holding his first show in the Big Apple in eight years.  For the exhibition, McGee has “assembled clusters of framed drawings and hand-painted wood panels accompany loose stacks of embellished surfboards, fetish-like wooden objects, and specially-made furniture”, echoing his anti-establishment mentality. If you’re in New York, definitely check it out. The show runs until October 26, 2013. (via Arrested Motion)
