Opening today at Portland’s Breeze Block Gallery, Three the Hard Way is a three-man exhibition featuring Christopher Derek Bruno, Augustine Kofie and Jerry ‘Joker’ Inscoe. All three artists are members of the groundbreaking Transcend graffiti collective and draw from artistic movements such as Futurism, Abstract Expressionism and Precisionism, where dimension, form and space are considered and explored within dynamic compositions. Traditional letterforms are abstracted into geometric configurations in line with the Graffuturism movement which they have had an instrumental part of building over the last few years. We’re fans of each of these artists – if you’re in Portland, don’t miss out. Three the Hard Way runs 7 November – 30 November 2013. (Images: Arrested Motion).
