Growing up, Purple Magazine, was the magazine I had to save my money for in time for each release, to follow on from their recent Anthology release, Oliver Zahm’s fashion periodical have released a special Portfolio edition featuring works by the likes of Juergen Teller, Richard Kern, Jack Pierson, Terry Richardson, and Richard Prince. The Magazine was initially started by Zamn and Fleiss with the intention of bringing fine art to fashion, by having fine artists shoot fashion editorial, this Portfolio showcases this to its extreme. The deluxe portfolio, featuring a work by each artist, will comprise 5 signed and numbered 16” x 20” color prints of images originally featured by Purple magazine. You’ll find more information about the book here, priced at USD25,000, it takes my memories of saving for the next issue to new grounds.
