Last week, the Suzanne Geiss Company in New York opened their exciting exhibition RAMMELZEE: THE EQUATION. The exhibition, paying homage to and displaying works by the late graffiti and performance artist, centers around his Letter Racers – spaceship-like sculptures created over 15 years in his loft, The Battle Station. These works are based on the artist’s manifestoes whereby he explored graffiti’s ability to liberate the transcendental powers of the alphabet that had been corrupted by Western culture. The exhibition runs until May 14.
