Last Friday Reas made a lot of noise in London with the opening of his exhibition Blood & Treasure. Super Touch were on hand to capture images from the works which featured more than 20 large scale new works “addressing the current state of armed conflict around the world, the show represented some of James’ most inspired and visually complex imagery to date, none of which had any difficulty in finding homes with well-heeled collectors before the gallery doors even opened to the public”. Reas is definitely a name in the spotlight at the moment as he is set to have his work featured on the cover of Juxtapoz.
