Once a fixture in Warhol’s Factory days, American painter and poet Rene Ricard is now showing a new collection of work at Andy Spade’s New York Half/Gallery called ‘The Torturer’s Apprentice’. Opening his show on 4th June with a ensemble of poetry, these days combining words and imagery, Rene Ricard is showing here through to July 8th. For those of you who prefer a slightly more refined version of words on paper then this show will exude such a high level of quality it will make you feel dignified just for being there.
