Bibliothèque nationale de France is presenting the latest Richard Prince exhibition entitled “american Prayer” (after Jim Morrison’s poem.) The exhibition will be the first monographic exhibition on Richard Prince to be organised in Paris, the exhibition explores a part of Princes personality never presented before, he is a passionate book lover and collector. Prince has an obsession for collecting American pop culture and countercultures from the 50s’ to the 80s’ which has inspired both his painting and photographic work. The exhibition opens March 29th to June 26th.
