Photographer Ryan McGinley has created a new photo essay and video entitled “Lightness Of Being An Olympian” to celebrate the athletes of the upcoming Vancouver Winter Olympics.  Taking his inspiration from the athletes who”will count on gravity to do its work as they try to get to the bottom of their racecourses” and ” others will be going in the opposite direction – up in the air” he has created the images and film below for The New York Times.
