Here is a great short film documenting a recent trip to Tokyo Ryan McGinley had coinciding with the opening of his most recent exhibition, Reach Out, I’m Right Here. Documented for Opening Ceremony by director Chad Moore and producer Kyle Cook while The Suzan’s cover of The Strokes’ “Take It or Leave It” sets the tone as footage shows McGinley get around Tokyo as well as mixing it with guests at the opening of his exhibition. Reach Out, I’m Right Here is on display at Tokyo’s Tomio Koyama Gallery through September 29, 2012 so make sure you check it out soon before it closes.
