New exhibition ‘Sacred Monsters‘ is opening at Tufts University in Massachusetts on September 10th. Under titled ‘Everyday Animism in Contemporary Japanese Art and Anime’, the show features eight emerging artists; Chiho Aoshima, Matzu, MR., Tomokazu Matsuyama, Tokyo Kamen, Nobuhiro Ishihara, Mahomi Kunikata and Oscar Satio Oiwa. The show offers a similar taste to that of the world renown Takahashi Murikami, with images of mixed anime/manga and traditional folk. The exhibition will run through until 22nd September 2009.
