As mentioned, the 10th September saw the launch of ESPO’s first solo show in Italy, entitled “Separating Light from Dark”, the show utilised Steve Powers signature 50′s sign writing style with obvious biblical reference and conversely, the desperately mundane act of separating whites from blacks when doing laundry. Here’s a look at the opening reception and the works on display at Galleria Patricia Armocida, Milan.
