Jeff Koons is enjoying a golden period: during 2008, the Pop artist’s work met much acclaim at Sotheby’s New York, was shown several times at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and later exhbited at Versailles – a first for a contemporary American artist. Now returning to industry, Koons – whose work will be showing at the Tate Modern later this year – has taken TateShots on a tour of his factory-like studio where trains hang from cranes and Popeye mingles with Herculean lobsters.
