Takashi Murakami will host his first exhibition in Rome in the coming weeks with Gagosian Gallery. The show which starts November 13th will see the unveiling of 2 new large scale pieces from the iconic japanese painter. Each painting measures 18 meters long, made up of 9 panels each. The large mural-esque pieces Dragon in Clouds – Red Mutation and Dragon in Clouds – Indigo Blue explore traditional Japanese mythology whilst securing a new look and feel to Murakami’s work.

The exhibition will run from November 13 to January 15, 2011 at Gagosian Gallery.
