Takashi Murakami has been working hard in recent times having shown in the Guggenhaim and working on projects like this exception and surprising collection of works for his upcoming inochi exhibition. inochi is based on a 2002 movie by Shinohara Tetsuo with Murakami creating five hugely impressive dolls for the exhibition which begins on Friday, April 3rd at the Kaikai Kiki Gallery.
