Terrible Yellow Eyes – A Tribute To Where The Wild Things Are
I was excited to read about the Terrible Yellow Eyes exhibition, a physical gallery show of online artwork inspired by the childrens’ classic “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak.
“Where the Wild Things Are” was one of the first books I fell in love with as a kid, I was (and still am) fascinated by the illustrations and it really set my interest in art and design off from an early age. I’m really looking forward to Spike Jonze upcoming film adaptation, and I’m intrigued to see how other artists have interpreted this iconic book.
The exhibition is taking place at Nucleus Gallery guest curated by Cory Godbey, creator of www.terribleyelloweyes.com, and will feature several new and original works from a selection of artists including:
C. G. Young
Juan Manuel Pedraza
Peter de Sève
