I saw this the other day, but was reminded today by Huh Magazine. The Flatiron Building has just recently been completed in the the Youkaichi district in Shiga, Japan. Unique in its design as you can see, the building was inspired by the shape of the land itself on which it was built. Somehow this building manages to create 567 sqm of space into the 261 sqm plot. The pictures show the exterior, I’d be interested to see how some of those rooms at the end are laid out.
