Walter Van Beirendonck
At times it is difficult to say where Walter Van Beirendonck gets his inspiration, motivation or evern his influence from but either way you interpretate the man he has a more than creative eye. Here is evidence of how far Van Beirendonck’s mind can go with an installation recently showcased at Galeries Polaris in Paris. This is how the exhibition was put into words by Van Beirendonck ‘In 2357, 300 years after the death of Walter Van Beirendonck in 2057,’aliens’ discover his tomb’. This installation plays with the idea of ‘past-future’, rituals and the Walter-icon. The exhibition in gallery Polaris shows the found artifacts discovered in the tomb.
