Chinese-born contemporary artist Cai Guo-Qiang currently has his work on showcase in an exhibition that consists of three parts: an installation “Head On”, where replicas of 99 life-sized wolves collide one after another into a glass wall; “Illusion II”, a two-channel video installation that documents his explosion project of the same title; and “Vortex”, a gunpowder drawing that depicts hundreds of thousands of wolves chasing each other in a circular motion.
