Bike builder Shinich Konno, proprietor of CHERUBIM, a custom bike shop on the outskirts Tokyo, has an insatiable appetite to push the envelope of bike design. This led him to conceive and develop the CHERUBIM Air Line. With its brilliant red coating and chrome accents invoking memories of the Radio Flyer wagons and tricycles of the 1950’s, the CHERUBIM Air Line is serious business. Executing an extreme minimalist aesthetic, there are virtually no right angles or sharp edges on the bike. Instead, graceful curves and elongated ellipses work towards perfect streamlining. And although it may be look like it belongs in a gallery, the CHERUBIM Air Line is perfectly ride-ready with velodrome cycling in mind.
