That urgent feeling of “need! need! need!“ is one which starts at about three years old, and apparently continues well into adulthood when it comes to LEGO. And while it used to be the cowboys and indians set, now it happens every time the colorful brick brand release a new Architecture series set, or in this case, the classic MINI Cooper. The 1077-piece set may be slightly challenging for the younger versions of ourselves, with a slew of details that the original Mini designers would be proud of. Coming in classic racing green, with a removable white roof, cream and grey interior, car radio and manual transmission – as well as a trunk which pops open to reveal a tasty picnic hamper – this release brings new meaning to the notion of a kit car.
Coming August 1st, to an imaginary highway near you.
