Marc Newson has designed so many different objects over the years its hard to see how he could possibly lend function to each design, spread across so many products and industries, but in his forth collaboration with Dom Pérignon, he does exactly that, blending his amazing eye for aesthetics and innovation with pure function. This packaging entitled ‘Black Box’ creates a travel friendly bottle of Champagne, keeping the bottle chilled and safe when travelling. The limited edition bottles are available in France now for €200, and expected to be released worldwide in January.
