Los Angeles-based artist Elliott Hundley opened his third solo exhibition at Andrea Rosen Gallery last Friday night, displaying a powerful body of work embodying the rich dramatic content and physical presence for which the he is known. Bringing together vibrant paintings, hybrid painted collages, billboards and sculptures, Hundley has both embraced and contrasted his previous bodies of work, drawing on old and new resources to create works that are both considered and free. Be sure to check this exhibition out if you’re in New York.
