Levi’s Film Workshop “Meet the artists” Series – Kenny Scharf
At MOCA’s recent ‘Art in the Streets’ Exhibition Levis held their Film Workshop pairing three of the exhibit’s artists with renowned filmmakers to create a series of film shorts called “Meet the Artists” that will bring life to each of the artists works. Over the coming months, the films will be made and premiered at the Workshop, with a live Q&A with the artists at the premieres.
The most recent release, saw filmmakers Malia Scharf and Nathan Meier being teamed up with artist Kenny Scharf to create “Kenny Scharf: More,Newer,Better,Nower,Funner!” which premiered this week in Los Angeles. The video was filmed in New York, Los Angeles and at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) in conjunction with the exhibition Art in the Streets.
