“Marcel Duchamp: La Vita a Credito” (A Life In Credit) is a new book by Bernard Mercade examining the life and work of one of the twentieth century’s most influential artists.  Touching on all of the major art movements of the last century (Futurism,Cubism, Dadaism, Surrealism…) but never really being a part of any of them he is truly the godfather of modern art, and paved the way for today’s contemporary art scene.  This book examines his belligerent approach to life – always contrary, often lazy and despised money – and how that influenced his work.

Sadly only in French it will be available from October 20th.
