Another sign of large corporate brands taking note of street culture. To celebrate the launch of BMW Studio One, the German Car Manufacturer have collaborated with Japan’s Medicom Toy to release a series of Bearbrick figures, available in 50%, 100% and 400% sizes. In keeping with BMW EfficientDynamics philosophy and message, 30% of the figures themselves are made of recycled plastic. While some people may take this sort of collaboration as a corporate attempt at reaching new and growing markets, the fact is, these are 2 iconic brands who’s markets do blend within a pop culture message.
