Neck Face is set to return to West Hollywood for a show at New Image Art, opening on September 7. Entitled, No Mercy for the Weak, the exhibition will feature a new series of paintings by the artist alongside a print set developed from his “extensive study and research of bar room practices”, in the spirit of great writers of the past who found inspiration in bar room drama, like Charles Bukowski, Ernest Hemingway, and Jack London. Also featured will be an altar to the Night Stalker (Richard Ramirez) – on of Neck Face’s favourite inspirations – who recently died in prison. Expect a show full of controversy and black humor – No Mercy for the Weak will run through September 22, 2013.
