Ghost Robot is proud to announce the digital launch of A LOVE LETTER FOR YOU, the film directed by Joey Garfield and is written and features notorious street artist Stephen ESPO Powers.

A LOVE LETTER FOR YOU paves new ground, seamlessly blending narrative and documentary storylines to chronicle Stephen Powersʼ Love Letter Project for the Mural Arts Program in West Philadelphia. In 2009, Stephen received a grant by the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage through the Philadelphia Exhibitions Initiative, to paint 50 murals across the elevated train lines of West Philadelphia. The film also stars real life notorious graffiti legends Jose Antonio as MICE and Nick Defalco as MR. BROWN.

The film has been shown at exclusive screenings around the world including premieres in New York and
Philadelphia, Moniker Projectʼs Adidas Underground during the London Olympics, Komafest in Norway, and is playing this week as part of the /ANDPEOPLE Art Festival in Cape Town, South Africa where Steve is creating a similar community inspired mural project.

All music featured in the film is by Philly local artist Kurt Heasley of Lilys; a popular shoegazer band from the early 90’s and good friend of ESPO.

The film is being released by FilmBuff and will be available on the following digital platforms iTunes, Amazon, YouTube Rentals, Cinemanow, Playstation, XBOX, and Vudu.
