To celebrate design week in Zona Tortona, two Italian firms fuse together to create a product that is ‘been torn from their natural habitat and placed in a new, unusual context. Metamorphosis launches a process of critical reflection to seek new outlooks finally open to change.’ One part Stone Island, a pioneering fabrics and materials brand for clothing, and the other part, Zanotta, a prestigious international design firm. The end result is a ‘Metamorfosi’ Sacco Chair. A bean-bag covered chair which has a ‘shell’ fabric covering. On show, starting from today until 19th  April 2010 at Stone Island’s Showroom within Milan Design.
