Alvarez brings her background in sculpture to her approach to illustration, her new series is composed of three woven tapestry artworks. “Her main reference through out the process has been op art. As a consequence, unexpected optical effects stimulate the viewer into a psychedelic vision.” A limited series of printed tee-shirts and a Tipi installation will complete the exhibition.
