“Seasons of Non” is up and running at Blackbird located in Seattle. Unholy Matrimony owner, Brett Westfall, was up there prior to the weekend’s opening to make sure things were in order in time for this joint venture between the two entities. The project was covered here by us, but to refresh your memory, “Seasons of Non” is a retail project installation that is to last 4 months at Blackbird and it will feature Westfall’s Unholy Matrimony line, which we also covered recently here. A cool tidbit of information regarding the objects used to create this installation are that the pieces were found in the maritime town of Ballard and were taken back to Blackbird on foot. Westfall’s explanation for travelling by foot is that he wanted to take in the experience and to get a better understanding of the community and citizens of Ballard. We would now like to take the time to present some images of what went down over the past weekend’s opening.
