Supreme x Master Lock

It was just yesterday I was making sure we all remembered to look out for high profile collaborations from Supreme as part of their upcoming Fall/Winter collection. The first of which is already here, announced for the first release, 4th September( NY & LA), is the Combination lock, produced by America’s most popular lock maker, Master Lock. It’s almost a signature of what lockers are worth breaking into, but expect to see much more from Supreme in the coming months. If you haven’t seen already, Supreme have also updated their ‘Random’ video section with videos featuring Kid Chocolate wearing the upcoming Everlast colab, and Christian Hosoi.

Henrik Visbkov ‘The Mint Institute’ Fall/Winter 2008

Henrik Visbkov’s amazing ‘The Mint Institute’ collection really stood out at Copenhagen Fashion week earlier this year, the amazing installation brought about a whole lot of critical acclaim for the designer, in amongst the amazing installation and theatre like performance, was yet another amazing range from the graphically inspired Vibskov. The time has now come where the range is dropping in stores, of which, is Tres Bien, who have added Vibskov’s collection to their ‘Shop in Shop’ concept, meaning the range is avaiable within its own entity online here.

Supreme Fall/Winter 2008 Collection

New York’s finest, Supreme, are back with their new season’s collection. The teaser graphic gives hints of much of the usual signature style, everyone has come to know and love. Oxford and Flannel shirting alongside classic sportswear inspired outerwear, and be sure to expect those high profile collaborations too. One stand out item will for sure be the JFK print which looks set to be the tee that will attract a lot of attention. Thursday September 4th in NY and LA stores and Saturday September 6th in Japan, will see the pending release, with Supreme’s online store being updated on September 8th, after 11am EST.

Customization and colaboration seem to be the words on everyone’s lips at the moment. A great example of both of these is ARTSPROJEKT, a new company by Andy Howell in partnership with Zazzle.com. Together, they have developed a skateboard printing system that allows anyone to put their art on a board. In addition, they have been working with artists and brands like Shepard Fairey / OBEY, skateboard artist Jim Phillips, Steve Caballero, Lil Jon, Mars-1, Alex Pardee, and DALEK.

Sneeze Mag ‘Bringing the Street back’ – Nic Fensom Interview

I’m one of the biggest Print Magazine fans you’ll ever meet, my office, my house, everywhere is stacked roof high, but with that said, its been a while since I’ve been truely inspired by a new magazine in the marketplace. I stick with those that have been around a while, and was convinced new players in the market had a tough time breaking through, till I found out about Sneeze Mag. With every page designed to function as a poster and with a genuine feel about its distribution and concept, its a Zine turned good. I decided to find out more about why Sneeze was such as success, and caught up with the man behind the magazine, Nic Fensom.

1LDK Tokyo Boutique

1LDK, stands for 1 Living room/Dining room/kitchen. Set up by Japanese retailer Takayuki Minami, the concept, similar to that of the first Tokyo Margiela Flagship, where MMM set up shop in a suburban home, customise the home into departments for the Belgians extensive line, Minami, has kept this philosophy but taken the concept into 2008 with the objective ‘friends apartment you can shop from.’ The store is located in a small apartment in Tokyo, and plays host to the likes of Soe, John Lawrence Sullivan, Adam Kimmel and Patrik Soderstam.

Mad Mad World Episode 1: Diplo X Dark Meat
