Draplin Project Teaser "Why America is F’ked(Graphically atleast)"
July 31st 08, 19:14
Draplin Project, is a new documentary about American Graphic Designer, Aaron James ‘Draplin’. Watch the teaser here, I’m sure there are alot of people who agree. The price of professional services such as this is something that I feel needs some sort of balance built into it. If you pay an amazing designer to create something, then its in eveyones best interest to pay top dollar, but if your work is spat out of a production line without any thought, and companies believe they can charge the same as something who’s put art and soul into their work, then somethings wrong. Its the tip of the iceberg really, but the teaser gives us something to think about.

July 31st 08, 18:59
A new law has been passed in California this week making those convicted of Vandalism responsible not only to clean the tagged surfaces they were convicted of, but in some cases to be responsible for keeping the surface clean for one year!
Leading up to the introduction of this new law is a increase in Graffiti on the streets of California, which was backed up by this statement “Racs said graffiti was increasing partly because it is celebrated on the Internet.” Not sure what to say about this? Ummm.. sorry?
Thanks to Juxtapoz for the heads up, you can read the entire article to make your own opinions at the LA Times.
