With the Banksy vs Bristol Museum show now over, it seems Banksy is officially back to decorating the streets as images of new work from the Bristol artist has surfaced recently, a piece depicting an image of a punk attempting to assemble an “IEAK Graffiti Slogan” kit. As usual, no official confirmation regarding the authenticity, but the unique style of stenciling and satirical sense of humour suggests that this is infact the work of Banksy. Working together with Italian boot company Diemme, a company located in Treviso in the mountainous north eastern region of Italy, Diemme is known to be specialists in the technical footwear industry providing hard wearing boots for firefighters, ski boots as well as hiking boots. Banksy Artwork Painted Over By Mistake

A mural by one of our favorite artist Banksy, which once featured on the cover of a single by rock band Blur, has been painted over by Hackney Council. The spoof image of the Royal Family, painted on the side of a building in Stoke Newington, east London, was partially covered with black paint. The building’s owner was in tears as she begged workmen to stop. By the time she persuaded them it was almost gone.
Hackney Council said the image was painted over in error.
Property owner Sofie Attrill gave consent for the mural to be painted on the building so it could be photographed for the launch of Blur’s 2003 single Crazy Beat. Panasonic officially announced the release of the GF1, their answer to Olympus’ EP-1 and a strong contender in the much talked about micro four-thirds camera market.
Shortly after release of much talked about Olympus EP-1 earlier this year, some leaked images appeared around the web of an up-coming Panasonic Micro 3/4’s prosumer compact, stirring up huge discussions around photography community. Graffiti Charges Dropped for Yoshimoto Nara

Earlier this year in Feburary, drunken Japanese contemporary artist Yoshimoto Nara was arrested for drawing a smiley face on the wall of the First Avenue L-train stop with a marker in the wee hours of the morning. After spending the night in jail, the 49 year old was given an adjournment in contemplation after being charged with making graffiti and criminal mischief. As a part of his plea, he was to stay out of trouble and from being arrested by cops for 6 months, something which he did with ease living back in Japan. As a result the charges that had been brought against him are now officially dropped.
