Harvard Launches Menswear Line
August 15th 09, 9:52
Although Ivy league colleges are most often associated with academic excellence, one cannot deny that their distinctive 60’s preppy fashion etiquette has over the years reached far beyond the university campuses to having an influence on a number of runway RTW collections. Being a key defining style in American fashion, the ivy league look has been so popular that infact even books published simply documenting the style (”Take Ivy“ ) has been an instant sell out. Those that are fond of the Ivy League look will be pleased to find that Harvard will be launching a full menswear line titled “The Harvard Yard” which will include crisp pieces like seersucker shorts, plaid shirts, light jackets and sporty knits. Manufactured by Wearwolf group (who are also responsible for the production of Brook’s brothers and J Crew).
Stay tuned for more info.
