No Ordinary Paper Bag.
January 25th 10, 2:50
This is an outcome of a tribute to ordinary functional object in everyday life. It is no ordinary paper bag, designed by two of the great minds from Design Work USA, Kim Kim-s have something to say if they are not designing automobiles during the day.
This beautifully tailor Italian leather bag is proportionately identical with a standard paper bag, there is no designer kitsch for this one, it is just a discerning elegance that is modest and exceptional.
It is really refreshing to see simple, great quality and functional object in my usual days of visual feast. It was lovely to meet you guys in LA, sorry I was very drunk…

The Belated Standard NYC.
January 25th 10, 1:00
It was a belated encounter with the Standard for two reasons: My flight to New York was icing up in the worse snow storm in Beijing airport, I got stuck on the run way for 5 hours, missed my connection flight in Shanghai, flew to Paris (I was in London just 4 days ago!) and finally arrived in the my favourite Apple after 23 hours!

Pop Life exhibition at the Tate Modern – London Part II
January 25th 10, 0:52
My yearly visit to the Tate Modern was on one of the coldest day in January, the neon “Pop Life” sign was comforting against the grey sky and minus celsius degrees. £25 each is what I recalled one of the most expensive shows for entry at the Tate, but then it is for “Pop Life: Art in a Material World.” First impression was quite right.

New Decade Part I: Decode @ V&A London
January 16th 10, 19:00

My trip back to London is always brief and a cruel battle with jetlag, it was well worth it for family and the fact that no other city in the world has inspired me so much every time, from the unique greyscale cityscape to the newest technology and design. Here are some of the highlights.

Badly Dressed Men…
May 6th 09, 19:46

Yes yes oh yay, I am OCD about putting things together, from layout, fashion to salad dressing. I don’t know if you ever experience waking up in the morning 8am and found out the person who spent the night in your bed was put together in “thou shall not be named” disaster, for that split second the only thing you would want will be some tequila washed down prozac tablets.
Men has completely gone bonkers in recent years, buying leggings that possibly diminishing their sperm counts, eyeliners, straighteners and way too much hair product that sabotage their dignities into a cross between a manga character and a in-the-closet gay hairdresser.
For those who does not share the obvious psychological confidence, they blend themselves into some average schmoe… like a familiar stream of everyday polluted air you’ll probably met at some point, as though he was some plain-face-girl named Mary’s boyfriend you met few years back at Jack’s birthday party somewhere east London… he was the one who sunk into the painted wall with some sick grime that bloke called Toothy projected on after 6 hours of sake-bomb…
The fun is to dress like you didn’t spend 2 hours matching your outfit, simply impeccable taste and good instinct… So darling if you fail to impress, fail better next time… or simply “ GIVE UP!”

Refuse random act of desperation…
April 29th 09, 1:01

Living in Beijing on my own as a 29 year old trapped in a 5 ft tall 14-year-old body is not easy… I found this bracelet perfect to deal with men who think they can give multiple orgasms to furniture by just sitting on it. So next time you see me dancing, enjoying the music on my jack with these “Thou Shall Not” on… spread your love but keep your zippers up!
