Identity
November 4th 08, 1:32

I can’t remember which author once said, “No one can be more English than a Englishman who lives away from England.” I often tell people “ I’m 100% Chinese other than my English passport”. Despite this I always have my loose leaf Earl Grey tea, I like my sandwiches without crusts, adore the Mighty Boosh, won’t let go of The Streets even though Mike Skinner hasn’t come out with a new album for 4 years, I’m proud of my British education and dive deep into BBC documentaries.

Around the corner comes Halloween, I was about to pull my leggings out for a colder Shanghai, but my friend Ukachi was hosting this party last weekend… with the theme of Legs, Liquor, Love, Lust, Ladies and more legs… call me shallow but I love legs… so here I was with two bottle of vodka and my pair of legs…everybody loves happy legs!!

To view below images you have to be under age of 18…Yaya (W+K Shanghai), Sam, me and Ceilen (that’s the right spelling!)

Me + Michelle

Shanghai is sad that Chris (LRG) and Noel (LRG) are going back to LA tomorrow…

One bottle down…
I’m a lucky girl…

It’s not easy to be Sammy B-I-B!

” “No Reason” by Jellymon & Friends Opening @ Source Shanghai
October 20th 08, 23:27

After my trip to US, I’ve been hiding and working on the “No Reason” show, this show is JELLYMON team’s little baby. The concept is really simple : with no sponsors, no corporate tie-ins, no one graffiti on soft drink cans or sneakers, just a selection of work from us and our friends around the world, with prints on sale for as cheap as we could possibly sell them and still break-even. We don’t need a reason to enjoy art and design, we don’t need a sponsor to party, and most of all you don’t need to spend a lot of money you can still own at least a piece of art print! More photos after the jump..

I Happily escaped from the Vegas trade shows this season. I managed to make my way to New York and LA without too many work obligations. This time I get to see the people I really care about and admire and at the same time learn a little bit about their inspiring work and business. Here are some posts from my journey.Read More -

“Tea Lab”@ MOCA Shanghai by Jellymon
September 16th 08, 21:00
We created a Tea Lab for the Museum of Contempory Art in Shanghai. We designed the space to be interactive so that while you are drinking your tea you can fill in the gaps in our drawings using chalk on the black chalk boards, the chalk boards get wiped clean everyday but leave a faint memory of the people who visited. We love drinking tea and drawing so we are happy to present our tea room to you, next time you are in Shanghai stop by at MOCA and have a drink and draw on our walls!
