Art of Partying – The Edit Niaf Edition..

Since their last visit in Paris, in Februari, the ParraSoundSystem has been very busy with their Edit album.
They are expecting it to come out early April.
Make sure you will get your copy for its also your ticket for the second Art of Partying at Le Regine.
And to make it all better the PSS will do a live show inspired by the edit album, next to their dj-set offcourse!!
Special guest dj this time will be Lil’Vic, whom will make sure to get things started the wright way!

La Vie Rapide

Here a last word on the last party thrown by the crew “La Vie Rapide”…What else?
All there is to say about this party is that it was simple blast (even though we would have obviously loved to share such a crazy event with the Parisians). A bit fat THANK YOU and WELL DONE to our brother Lyntaro – and his partner in crime Mitsuo – as well as Frasier, Jommy, and Teki, of course.
To finish, I would like to warmly thank, in the name of POK, all the people, who made it possible for the whole family to make the great leap over to the other side of the world, welcomed us, and made us pass an unforgettable moment.
Shout out to Big O, the Phenomenon Crew, Shintaro & Jon-E, and to Lyntaro, Mitsuo, Halima & Koji, “LA FAMILLE tout ce qui bouge”, Frasier, the Japanese Nike Crew, Masaki from Le Baron, Prohibit, Cara Warp Magazine, Adam, and of course the best restaurant in town: Fish my Life.ARIGATO KOSAIMAS !!!

So here a little report on the voyage to Japan – again & again – with the Pain O choKolat crew, but unfortunately not with our Paulo national, who was, however, brilliantly replaced by our friend Yannick Do. The Pain O choKolat delegation was also accompanied by the crew from Clark Magazine (Guillaume le G., Laurent Fake, et Romain D.), Teki Latex and his DJ Orgasmic, from the parisian label Institubes.
So here we go with the presentation…
Now let me tell you a little about the first event of this trip to the country of the rising sun, which was about a collaboration between Clark Magazine X Phenomenon X POK, and was madly celebrated at Le Baron de Paris…in Tokyo !!!

just came back from the other side of the globe and i would like to share some of that with y’all.
So here is a small photo-report of my trip in Japan !!If you can go to the Japan for work it’s great !! Vacation great !! Both even better !!!
So I would like to thank all the people that made this trip so wonderful…. Halima, Koji, “la famille tout ce qui bouge”, Lyntaro, Mitsuo, Fraser, Makoto, Jommy, Faberyeyo, Mayumi, etc….I miss the land of the rising sun already….but since we are going with the crew soon, its all good !

No Strings Attached by Pigalle and Ill Studio

Ohlalalala! What a day…What a day, it was!…
As I told you in the earlier post, the guys from Ill Studio and Pigalle were gonna host a special event to celebrate their limited edition T-shirts…
Well… The exhibit was a total surprise: one involving sex dolls and crazy graphism. I should probably specify that the theme revolved around “sexual misery” i.e: What people do to get it off without a partner. Ha! Needless to say the installation was forbidden for people under 18.
The crowd really digged Pigalle’s sexy exhibit and the orgasmic soundtrack of a woman with a British accent giving specific orders (I won’t go into any details…)
The PainOchoKolat Sound System boys baked/cooked up a hot party after the exhibit! But before the records started spinning, the supersonic futuristic rapper Dal Gren gave a special showcase to which we all nodded our heads. This time the crew was joined by the British crew: The Derelikts.

Pigalle X Ill Studio installation : NO STRINGS ATTACHED

You may not know this, but Ill Studio are the guys behind Pigalle’s graphic chart.
And you may not know this either, but the Pigalle store is in coolest yet kind of grimmy area of Paris: the red light district.
So… It was pretty obvious that the Ill Studio team and the Pigalle team woud get together on another project. This time, the madly creative graphic artists will set up an exibit on the “sexual misery” theme in the Pigalle store where 100 exclusive Pigalle X Ill Studio T-shirt will be sold along with a booklet of their art.
To make things even better, the POK Soundsystem, The Derelikts and Dal Gren will make you bounce at the Café Carmen.
So come by if you are in town Saturday.
