This is a short film my friend Boris made about “Snow-surfers”. My great friend Wolle and Terje were in Niseko to have session with Taro Tamai. We were all together for 2&half weeks in deep powdered Niseko.

8.18 PEDAL DAY!!

Here is an interesting event “PEDAL DAY” happening on 18th which is day after tomorrow in Yoyogi park, Tokyo.
I guess this will be historical, because those guys organizing this even handled “CMWC” last year and all bicycle event in past build up all hype around bicycle in Japan.
They are serious and this is the biggest bicycle event(festival) in history.
If you are in Tokyo, you should come and check it out.

We went here and there driving RV for 6 people with 13 dudes on.

These photo were taken in Niseko, Hokkaido.
Snowboard night riding shoot.
I am riding with them and trying to capture the intensity around riders when they are carving at high speed.
It looks little bit different from the typical snowboard photos you normally see with blue sky and white powder.
This is the moment when riders are focusing on their own turns.
White snow surface and dark black night sky in Black and White photo.
The gear they are wearing makes it look like they are in space or something.
Kind of fantastic and wonderful I think.

I have a dream to do ripzinger tour all around the world.
1st book was in west coast, 2nd book was in New York. And from here, Europe and Asia, Mid east, Africa, Scandinavia, South America,,,,, Japan. Me and camera with skateboard or bicycle, snowboard,,,,.
And after last 5 years ripzinger trip in USA, I got a ticket to London for first time.
