I am a big, in fact no, massive fan of beaten up leather, why ? because it has soul, it has lived breathed and probably almost died with the wearer on a number of occasions … i know this to be true of at least one of the next 3 images … i will leave that up to you decide … i find leather when used and bruised to be comparable to a faithful ole hound, loyal and very much in tune with the owner … so hey here’s to old dogs and old leather. The jacket below i bought from a gentleman called ‘Crosby’ a sort of hybrid between a Vietnam vet and a hippy … i guess they exist afterall … he has a stall at the vintage fair at Fairfax high in L.A … one of the nicest people i met in LA the first time i ever went … spent 3 hours chatting … dude knows !
