    As we round out our lasting bit of coverage from Capsule not to long ago we turn our attention to a SLAMXHYPE favorite, Beautiful Fül. For the upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection the label will present one of their most refined and expansive collections to date. With a much more in-depth preview coming in later weeks we wanted to gather a bit of perspective from owner Alejandro about the lines inspiration. What we were given was an enlightened story that interweave with the pieces in the collections effortlessly, bringing life to the garments not seen often these days in menswear.

Following in the classic rock tone much of their sophomore album took, “ON’N'ON” approaches the electro sound with a much subdued approach, however the Alexandre Courtes Directed video doesn’t. The video takes the viewer through an NSFW intergalactic journey that an continum of naked girls, skulls, and of course Justice., an trippy experience is definitely to be had. First up we present Tovar who’s stellar debut collection has garnered much buzz for the Los Angeles based label. For Fall/Winer they will be offering up the usual seasonally appropriate garb. For our looks we have chosen some of their most noteworthy pieces ranging from waxed canvas outerwear to a chunky knit turtleneck that may spark a renewed interest in the once cherished piece.

    As we continue our coverage from Project we turn our attention to Android Homme. The label has received a great response while they continue their pursuit of progressive footwear that lives within a category seemingly on its own. The unique blend of functionality with high fashion aesthetics sees the brand becoming a favorite within an ever expanding demographic. From this point forward the label will focus on two Labels a diffusion line AH by Android Homme and Android Homme. For project we selected a few of their standout pieces to showcase, the Supernova, the Propulsion 1.5, and lastly the Accelerator, their interesting take on the driving show. The Supernova represents their latest R&D development in Italy as interesting leathers are paired with traditional cupped soles all hand tooled in Italy.

  • Good Guys Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

    Drawing inspiration from 1950’s mens footwear Parisian label Good Guys may seem like your standard label from the surface but their message lies much deeper within their pieces. While the silhouettes may seem familiar to those who have followed the trends currently in footwear, the Unisex label had added an eco friendly twist by producing their entire line with eco friendly non animal based materials, something we haven’t seen much of in this type of casual footwear. The usage of eco friendly materials doesn’t detract from the quality craftsmanship expressed in the sense of a true Parisian line.
