THE TRENCH
October 6th 09, 17:13
The Trench. A drainage ditch that runs along the 378 freeway in Pa.
My friends and I cleaned, cleared and started skating this spot in late 1981. It became the area hangout for delinquent teens and punks as well as the the breeding ground for some of the best skateboarders from Philly, NYC and N.J. – Many scuffles and fist fights happened in the trench- Punks VS Jocks, Stoners VS Straight Edge kids, etc…every west coast pro that came through the area would visit 2 spots, The MFC vert ramp and the Trench.
The Trench shaped many lives, including my own, it represents 100% rebellion to leagues of skaters all over the east coast. Today, it still remains as one of the most frequented skate spots in the tri-state area.
The Trench Photo print set- consist of photographs of friends shot by friends circa 1983-86, at the highly influential east coast skate spot. The black and white photo is shot by Brian Plebani – the color photograph was shot by Eric De Jesus.
In Los Angeles, both designs are available at UNION.

Filmed a short movie 3 weeks ago. Shot on R3D camera- I have been scoring the sound design with friends for two weeks. Sound is 50% of the end product. learning so much- Love the saturation and colors. Colors tell stories as much as sound. The hues give this film the setting. I am very excited. *Filming part 2 in desert next month

DAVID MANN / FUCT
September 21st 09, 17:48
As far back as the late 1960’s early 70’s American icon David Mann is world known for his legendary artwork in Easy Rider Magazine. As a life long rider himself, many consider Mann to be the epitome of the biker artist. Mann’s paintings depicted the outlaw against surreal backgrounds, distorted skylines and colorful images that celebrated the chopper motorcycle as well as the freedom of the open road.
Fuct is honored and privileged to present the following David Mann t-shirts, in the “American Outlaw Series”. Two designs will be released this week. One short sleeve- one long sleeve, black only. Union Los Angeles will have stock.

BRUNETTI FOR MEDICOM’S F@BRICK
September 2nd 09, 1:35
*last week I received clearance form Nabe at Medicom to post these previews of the fabric samples I designed for Medicom’s F@brick division.
I am designing a capsule set which will consist of a Backpack, Waist Bag, Slippers and Pillow. We chose to replicate the camouflage of the Vietnam M-1 helmet cover, also referred to as the Jungle leaf pattern or the “Mitchell”. These helmets were often decorated with graffiti by soldiers depicting symbols of peace, nihilism and drug use. (This ‘Nam camo was only used for helmet covers during 1963-1970.)
This wasn’t an easy task- I am very impressed with the end results Medicom has achieved. I am very excited for this project, as the Mitchell camo is one of the few camo’s that hasn’t been exploited in this industry.
Medicom will be releasing the Erik Brunetti F@brick set spring 2010. “Get some”
